Well ...well ..well.... All this opposition tells me that I am on the right track along with all the people who support this cause.
Infact, we had seen similar opposition when we spoke against labor substitution in 2004 on immigrationcom website.
But labor substitution was stopped and DOL is currently auditing/investigating so many who used it. If you used labor substitution, you mostly should find that your I-140 is not getting adjudicated these days.
Interfiling while being the same company is totally illegal. Its tantamounts to fabricating the job requirements or asking you HR to "create a job position".
I whole heartedly support all EB3s who were qualified for EB2 when they filed their EB3 and we will keep this clause in mind when preparing the lawsuit.
Rest.. good luck.. you might even get your I-140 (or GC) approved based on PD porting ... but we will make sure that you get investigated eventually and the "incorrect decision" overturned.

USCIS to Issue Two-Year EAD for I-485 Waiters at End of June 2008
The Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security announced on 06/09/2008 that the DHS would start issuing two-year EAD beginning from end of June 2008 for the I-485 filers. Hooray!
Announcement: "I'm also pleased to announce that we will be extending the validity period of the employment authorization documents that we issue to individuals who are waiting adjustment of status to lawful permit residenture or in colloquial phrase, the green card. Currently, adjustment applications are granted employment authorization documents with only a one year maximum validity. Beginning later this month, we'll start issuing these documents with a two-year validity period for aliens who are waiting adjustment of status if their application is expected to be pending for more than a year. This, again, is eliminating a persistent source of frustration for workers who are here, who have a pending adjustment application but have to go and renew their employment documents every single year. It's going to cut the paperwork there."
Tank you so much for the news ....

I am guessing that this is a move to allocate more numbers to China-EB2 applicants since both India/China EB2 may move together. They want to get as much diversity as possible.
I agree with nixtor that EB2 India will retrogress soon before oct-08.
eb2 china was at jan2006 for a while. this will be the first time that they will be moving beyond jan 2006.

So you want the people who are working on the initiatives to to go through and read and respond to every individual?
wow!
I support the donor idea. But there is no transperency to who is leading what initative. If i want to contribute my time, i have to read through the posts every day for several hours to find who is leading the effort so i can discuss with them. Sometimes i feel there is so much more talk.
Why don't we list out the initiatives that is being considered or worked on. Along with some contact information so people can discuss offline with them. I cannot be online for several hours and read through all the discussions and still not find out who is coordinating the efforts.

Buddyinus,
I know you are bit overcharged on this forum. I have already warned you politely and gently against personal attacks.
You have not heeded my advise and that of pappu.
Its time for second warning and if you continue and persist on your idiotic talk, you will really face the consequences.
I have already complained about your behavior and you still continue with your narrow and dogmatic thinking.
You really don't know the difference between assertion and assumption.
Let us move on and concentrate on the bigger issue.
I hope you will cool down and get down to basics. I don't want you to be banned from this forum as we need members and especially contributing members.
Best regards
sri
Guys...
I just logged in thinking that by Monday, we July 2nd filers wud be getting receipts. But after flipping the pages back on this forum, I saw that the Monday was indeed the previous one. This is indeed misleading. After seeing the ongoing tussle between buddyinus and Srikondo, I realised Buddyinus is right. Whats wrong in whatever he's saying??? The purpose of this thread is to discuss about the so called Monday's receipts. But since that Monday is gone, looks like u r fighting over nothing. How dare u warn anybody on this thread. I am with Buddyinus on this. He may be a junior but u dont have any rights to warn him. Beware.

frankzulu,
thanks buddy. ignore that intelligent person.
He seems to be living in different world.
I hope moderators or admin or atleast pappu privately restrain this guy from his vitrious talk.
Coming to attending the rally, lets get some more folks from manchester, nashua area and plan on to attend this event.
--sri
SriKondoji & I both being from the NE area we communicated through this thread possibility of car polling for DC and I received a call from him last thursday(Aug 9th) regarding this from some Ohio area code. So buddyinus I can at least assure you he was travelling at that time.

How long it takes to get 140 approved in premium?
Officially 15 days. But according track itt website , it is taking at the most 8 or 9 days.

I just registered for IV. I wish I could come to DC rally on 18th. But due to certain unavoidable circumstances I may not be able too. Though not an excuse But I feel very guilty about it and this guilt will always remain there that I was not part of rally on 18th. I am contributing a small amount of $ 100 by google order # 309818904607579
That you so much h1gc. It was never my intention to make anyone feel guilty, just wanted to make people passionate about our cause, because it is there cause too.
