Hello All,
I wanted your advice. I filed for my 485. Then hit retro. Got married. Now got current in June VB. Want to apply wifes 485. EB2 India PD 15 March 04. Initially lawyer said he would do everything in one fees. Now he says he will charge 1000 dollars more since he is filing for wifes separately. I was wondering whether to do it myself. Is it advisable? Has anyone done it succesfully? If so what do you put on top of your application so that USCIS knows I am filing for derivative and my PD is current and so they wont reject the docs? Thanks.

I had filed my i-485 along wid my whole famliy on 2nd july . My checks got cashed yesterday for all of us. But when i seee online its shows case pending for all of us expect my younger son ..w ehave reciept but we cant locate his reciept number online.Its showing number doesnot exist . So wat can be the reason behind it. I have reciept numbers for his i-485 and i765 juss can see his status online..

Plz help.

I used to fedex EAD and AP applications etc to this Augustine Road address before. After introducing lock boxes, they changes the fedex address too.I am planning to submit AC21. Hi, I have approved H1b through company "NewCompany" but my GC sponsoring company "GCcompany" is planning to cancel my APPROVED 140. Again, I know USCIS will do inted to deny and Yes, I have filed for 485 + it's been 180+ days but I guess the most important question of all is:-

"Will this affect my H1B status?' Since the approval for new 3 year (extension) was based on my 140 and now this thing is under jeopardy. If I use EAD, my wife will no longer be H4 and thats a different problem- Gosh when is thind going to end?"

I just got off infopass appt. after talking to someone in USCIS serv center.
was told that the case is in the examination section. He did not give me any details as he said thats all what he sees on the screen.

any one tell me what that means and how long could it before they will adjudicate?
