Hi guys,
In my college days, I was returning to Varanasi(ITBHU) after spending Holi at my Aunts place in Delhi. It was warm, so I tried with all my might to open the stuck glass window next to me. I tried and tried, gave up... only to try again, to open the damned window. Finally, with help from my neighbours I was able to get the window open. Nice cool air came in. Everything was perfect. Then suddenly it happened. The train was entering Ghaziabad, there were these slumdogs aiming cow dung at the train. Needless to say, I got hit and totally covered with shit literally. :eek:
Here I am again trying hard to open the window of opportunity... GC, for the fresh air of freedom to enter my life.
Is all this delay a blessing in disguise? Food 4 thought.

Trust me, after waiting at PBEC for almost 2 years,I know what BEC is. I was just saying that a person who got LC certified in 2004 didn't have to go thru BEC. They started transferring cases at the beginning of 2005.

Its been close to 2-3 weeks since Ombudsman's office got to know about this issue. Inspite of them contacting TSC they still do not have a response yet. So now its time to send Ombudsman's office with completed Form 7001 so that they get to investigate your individual case and assist you. They are obligated by law to investigate and respond to your request. The more people send out those forms, the more important it becomes for them to address this issue on a priority basis. So please take the time to mail out the forms soon.

Irrespective of the employer decision to revoke I140 or not, I have to send AC21 letters to USCIS. That is the reason I am asking anyone to suggest a good attorney for representation.

Maybe you want to start a thread and collect all those who are stuck in 2001 and earlier dates in EB3 I and 2003 and earlier for EB2I on IV.
Lets see how many we get. They should also update the IV tracker with their dates. We can then use that data to ask help clear the backlog and petition to advance dates in a systematic order. This will work if you can get many people who are stuck despite their dates being current for several months/years. What do you think?

you dont need to give any test for renewing DL in NJ untill 3 years after the expirydate of the DL. Only after 3 years of expiry, you will need to give a written test.
I got this info from the NJ DMV office a few weeks ago.
NY WILL ISSUE DRIVER�S LICENSES REGARDLESS OF IMMIGRATION STATUS...

Legal immigrants carry on suffering... My NJ Drivers License expires tomorrow and my H1B extension just got approved yesterday. NJ DMV won't renew my license without the original approval notice and I may have to take the written test again once the license expires.,
