Between Fragoman, My Company and USCIS they sure are going to drive me nuts. I am waiting for green card for 10 years now with the same company. They are moving EB2 date and nothing gets done with EB3. On top of all these, 2 years from now, they will make all dates current which literally mean I will get my Green Card with a guy came here 10 months ago....

We are in successful talk with an Associated Press reporter who is interested in writing about our problems. I am planning to schedule a meeting with this reporter in firsts week of January based on her availability.

Although 30,000 people are IV members but when you need them except a couple of hundred you don't see anyone.
How can an organization work which can't even collect 5K a month from its members. We all are willing to spend hundreds ( sometimes thousands ) of dollars on EAD, AP , H1, labor, I-140, I-485, lawyers etc etc and don't even spend 100$ a year (yes not month - a year).

I beg to differ here. 30k+ plus people have signed up so far, but how many are active now? How many have even logged in IV in last 3 months or even 6 months? I don't see any link to discontinue membership here, so we don't know how many people up signed up and left?
There is no way to know count of "active members". Many IV members have got GC in last 2 years and they have "quitely" left IV and forgotten the struggle by EB based immigrants. How many members stay at IV after getting GC?
Many people believe that by getting EAD they are Temp GC holders and motivation for seeking any benefit is gone.
I am pained to say this, but we are a thankless community.

I have nothing to recommend to them as things are fine as they are. And there will be no recommendation coming from me to close any door at all, whether it be for EB2 or anyone else.
You can go ahead and recommend against EB3 BSc BCom losers, as it is your business
To shut down a program because of a few mis-users : I am sure you WONT agree to extend this logic to your precious EB2 application when someone points out how someone else misused it
Then why you are fighting for the spill over rules as they stand. Because its going to help you :confused:

H1 status ends once u start using EAD (This happens after u file I9 with employer) Once you start working using EAD card, you cannot maintain h1b status at the same time.

Reddog is an agent of someone paid to view IV site and create anti-IV posts. He may very well be an anti-immigrant who is now worried that he may not get access to secret info of our efforts.

please guys just write as many as you can...as i pm'ed pappu...my piece was touchy feely, because i wanted it that way. He suggested some additions to add contributions of immigrants/details of retrogression but I declined cos i felt the touchy feeliness (so to speak) would be diluted.

Hi,
We filed for our I131 on 7th Oct, 2007. Yet to receive anything on them. My wife needs to travel to India end of this month. She needs her AP since she is on adjustment of status right now. We had filed for a service request on 7th Jan at Nebraska Service Center. Got an email from them on 8th asking for supporting documentation. We faxed the medical certificate for my wife's mother on 8th Jan.
Now NSC customer service is saying that we need to wait for further decision. Spoke with our local Infopass office today and as per them we should get something in 3-4 weeks. They gave us an option of getting new AP at local infopass office by filing new fees all over again.
Has anyone on this group faced similar issues? How do we go about getting approval once we file for expedited request? I though once we open a new SR, we should get something back within 5 business days? Any help would be appreciated.

CALL your state senators. State senators are interested in listening from people who reside in their respective states, Cause they technically represent them. So they want to hear what affects their constituents.
