hey everyone I was trying to download the swift 3d because a pparently it sweems like a cool one but the download trial wasn't accuriable anyway I looged into the net store and checked the full program, it costs about 159$ so I guess I want to download the trial first to give it a try before spending that much amount of money so if any of you know where to donwlaod it just plz post me a message with the title"FOund what you wanted" on your subjectt space.=)

My law firm applied my EAD/AP/485 on Aug 13th. I got my Receipt Notices for all three.
My question is where does USCIS send the FP Notice and EAD?
Do they send it to my house address or lawyer?

Let the EAD expire, it makes more sense to use H1B when you enter the country. EAD and Advance Parole should be avoided and be used only as a last resort in extreme cases beacuse of the way immigration rules are carved.

Hi There,
My 485 application is pending at TSC on EB3 category, country of chargebility is Inida. Yesterday my PERM labor approved on EB2 category and need to apply 140 to recapture my own EB3 PD.
My employer will come under NSC. if the PD recaptured, I will be hardly one month away from my priority date to be current, as per the current visa bulletin dates.
1) So can you please provide some suggestion to which Service Center will be opt for filing EB2 140 now, in order for getting an optimal or faster process for 140 and eventually 485?
2) Does the service center really matters as it will take a very long time for me to get greened?
3) Is it worth waiting for couple of month's visa bulletin, to see whether the EB2 I dates are moving so that I can use some streamline process to process 140 and 485 together?

Future action items might include drafting documents and letters to support this provision. There maybe actions such as sending emails etc. However we would not be able to open a public action item unless we can have thousands of our members willing to participate in a grassroots action item. This survey intends to understand the needs of our membership for this provision and collect grassroots information.
The fact is we have a dedicated group of volunteers (and we need more) who have been trying their best to spread the message about this initiative so that a strong grass-roots support can be created leading up to launch of the public action items. So far we have around 1100 people who have responded. Based on quick calculations carried out using PERM data, it is estimated that there are at least 60K-70K EB applicants waiting to file I-485/EAD/AP (this is a very conservative estimate..the actual number could be much more). Grass-roots initiatives require time and patience and we request maximum number of impacted folks to participate actively.

Hi,
I would like to apply for the H1B Visa. For the same, I would like to clarify whether I am eligible with the following education background (Basically I am looking for the 16Yrs education criteria)
1) Did schooling up to 10th (10 Yrs)
2) Did Diploma (3 Yrs, Full Time)
3) Total IT work experience is 9.10 Yrs
4) Did B.S ( Bachelor of Science -- 3Yrs - Work Integrated Course/Distance Edu)
5) Did M.S (Master of Science -- 2Yrs - Work Integrated Course/Distance Edu)

Myself and my wife got first EADs with expiration of Sept 17, 2008. We both applied for renewal on July 14th, 2008 with TSC and my wife got her EAD under a month. My wife is using it work, where as I am still on valid H1b. My application was pending still then, I have called USCIS and put an expedite request on Oct 17, 2008. On Dec 3rd, my case status online updated saying, case transfered to one of the local office. I got a paper notice after 2 days saying:
for faster processing we have transfered your case to the following location.
and nothing in the next line, blank.
Even though I assume this was to faster my process, just wanted to know whether any of you have faced this.
Appreciate your reply.

Since everything is current now, and happy as I am, it jumped quicker on me than i anticipated. I am in precarious position to apply I-485 right away or see it get retrogressed again.
My dilemma is that I am unmarried and want to get married to someone in India, but also take my time selecting my mate.
My question is if I apply for I-485 in july or august, how much time do I have to get married in India and still make my spouse eligible for green card with me.

My wife was deported after being in the US for more than 9 years. She spent 4 months in jail. Your first question will be why didn't I get her papers for her, she didn't want to go through the hassles. We have been married for 4 years. She was arrested when we attempted to return from Mexico after a vacation she was on. They confiscated the vehicle and I was released without a record, gave me a break because I am retired military.
I have heard that there is a pardon process. Since the rest of her family is still in the US, we want to be able to return. I am in the process of moving to Mexico to be with my wife.
Can anyone shed some light on a "Pardon"?
